Anion exchange membrane seprate Cr (Ⅵ)  in drinking water research 

Based on the principle of Donnan dialysis, Cr (Ⅵ) in drinking water was separated by anion exchange membrane without voltage.

The results showed that when the initial concentration of Cr (Ⅵ) in raw water was 1.0 mg / L, the pH value was 6.95 and the NaCl concentration in the solution was 0.1 mol / L, the influent flow of both raw water and compensation solution was 2.5 mL / min. The separation and removal of Cr (Ⅵ) by anion exchange membrane was 86.4% when the stirring intensity of the solution was 500 r / min and the water temperature was 25 ℃. The removal efficiency of Cr (Ⅵ) decreased when Na2 SO4 was used as the compensation solution. When the pH value of raw water reaches 11.0, the removal rate of Cr (Ⅵ) by anion exchange membrane is reduced to 78.9%.

The Cr (Ⅵ) in the donor pool was more easily separated into the acceptor pool by membrane migration.The water temperature was increased from 10 ℃ to 40 ℃, and the residual mass concentration of Cr (Ⅵ) in the donor pool was increased from 0.21 mg / L to 0.12 mg / L.
