Microfiltration and reverse osmosis membrane


       Microfiltration technology is a membrane separation process that uses the pressure difference as the driving force for the screening principle. The microfiltration membrane refers to a highly uniform porous solid continuous medium having a pore size of 0.02 to 10 μs and a pressure difference of 0.01 to 0.2 MPa applied thereto.


       Reverse osmosis technology is the reverse process of permeation. The separation of the solvent and the solute in the solution is achieved by the nature of the semipermeable membrane that only passes through the solvent and retains the solute. According to the operating pressure classification, reverse osmosis membranes can be classified into extremely low pressure membranes, ultra low pressure membranes, low pressure membranes, and high pressure membranes. Extremely low pressure membrane is suitable for the treatment of low salinity water, the operating pressure is 0.69 MPa, ultra low pressure membrane is suitable for low salinity water inlet, operating pressure is 1.03Mpa; low pressure membrane is suitable for brackish water, municipal sewage, etc. Treatment, operating pressure is 1.55Mpa; high pressure membrane is mainly used for seawater desalination, landfill leachate treatment, operating pressure is 5.5MPa.


       The shape of reverse osmosis membrane module is mainly divided into hollow fiber type, dish type and roll type. Among them, the roll reverse osmosis membrane is the mainstream product in the market, and the disc-type reverse osmosis (DTRO) membrane is a reverse osmosis membrane product with great development potential that has emerged in recent years. Compared to roll reverse osmosis, disc-type reverse osmosis (DTOR) has a wider flow path, a higher recovery rate, less clogging, greater resistance to contamination, lower water requirements, easier cleaning and replacement, and maintenance management. It saves labor and other significant advantages.
